MP3 Cutter Tool (referred to as "the Tool") is operated by the Upliftorch team. We understand how much you value your privacy, and the Tool was built with a privacy-first philosophy from day one. The Tool uses browser-native technologies such as the Web Audio API. All audio decoding, cutting, merging, and encoding happens entirely on your device (in your browser). Your files stay on your computer or phone from start to finish — they never leave.
When you close the browser tab or navigate away from this site, all audio data held in memory is immediately released. No residual files are left behind.

The Tool itself does not use tracking cookies. We do not use cookies to identify you, track your browsing behavior, or build user profiles.

The Tool loads the lamejs library (used for MP3 encoding) via a CDN (jsDelivr). The CDN provider may log basic access information (such as IP addresses), but this is outside the Tool's control. Beyond that, the Tool does not integrate any third-party tracking or analytics services.

The Tool is suitable for users of all ages. Because we collect no personal data, there are no special privacy risks related to children.
8. Data Security
Because all audio processing takes place on your device and we collect and store no user data, there is no risk of server-side data breaches. The security of your files depends entirely on the security of your own device.
